When you set goals, how do you decide on them? How do you determine which ones are yours and which ones are societies? When you break them down, what do you see? When the goal is weight loss, what is the actual goal? Does that mean eating more fruits and vegetables? To move you body more? To handle stress better? The changes I listed are part of a healthy lifestyle. Sadly, we only focus on weight loss.
The real goal is to create a healthier lifestyle that may or may not include weight loss. You could only lose a small amount, but your health markers have improved. Creating a healthy lifestyle is truly defined by you. Many people experience burnout because they’re adopting “lifestyles” that don’t align with theirs.
So, I ask you today, what are your goals? How can you create them to fit the life that you desire?
